WaniTas is a product of our own design and is made entirely by ourselves.

From the initial idea and pattern development to cutting, sewing, and finishing: we do it all ourselves. Every WaniTas is therefore created from our own design, our knowledge, and our craftsmanship.

We believe it is important that it is clear where our products come from and who is behind the design and production.

Our designs are ours

WaniTas designs have been carefully developed by us. This includes:

our bag designs and styling;
patterns and technical specifications;
designs for custom-made WaniTas bags;
logos, illustrations, and other graphic designs;
photos and visual material;
texts and other original content on our website and communication channels.

Insofar as these components are protected by copyright, the relevant rights rest with WaniTas or with the rights holder who has given us permission to use them.

The fact that a design, photo, or other creative expression is visible online does not mean that it may be freely used, copied, or modified.

Copying or commercial use

It is not permitted to:

copy or reproduce;
replicate or produce commercially;
adapt with the aim of creating a similar product;
use for one's own commercial purposes;
publish or distribute;

our original designs, patterns, photos, texts, or other creative expressions without prior written permission from WaniTas.

This also applies when only parts of an original design are adopted, insofar as this infringes on the rights of WaniTas or another rights holder.

If you see a product that you suspect uses our design without permission, please let us know.

Custom-made WaniTas bags

Even with our custom-made WaniTas bags, the basic principle remains that the underlying WaniTas design is ours.

A customer can propose their own colors, fabrics, details, or other personal wishes. This makes a specific execution personal and unique, but does not automatically grant the right to reproduce or commercially use the underlying design, pattern, or product construction of WaniTas.

When a customer supplies their own material, artwork, images, logos, or other designs, the customer remains responsible for ensuring that these materials may be used lawfully.

Own design and handmade product

A WaniTas is not a mass-produced item.

We design, produce, and finish our bags ourselves. Therefore, minor differences may occur in, for example, fabric, color, stitching, placement of a jeans pocket, or other details. Precisely these differences are inherent to a handmade product and make every WaniTas unique.

We consciously choose this way of working. This allows us to maintain quality control, flexibly respond to customer wishes, and know exactly what goes into our products.

Protection of our creations

We respect the intellectual property of others and expect the same from others regarding our designs.

Our creative expressions may be protected by copyright and, where applicable, by other intellectual property rights such as trademark and design law.

We reserve the right to take action when our intellectual property rights are infringed without permission.

Do you wish to use a design, photo, text, or other material from WaniTas? Please contact us beforehand.

In some cases, we may grant permission for use. However, without our prior written permission, you should not assume that use is permitted.
